Florence Pugh embraced Y2K fashion in a stunning ensemble as she appeared in Rachel Chinouriri's new music video for Never Need Me, which was officially released on Thursday.
The 28-year-old Oppenheimer actress, who recently turned heads at the star-studded AFI Luncheon, joined the 25-year-old English singer as she released the latest single from her debut album titled “What A Devastating Turn Of Events.”
As the video progressed, Pugh took on the role of Rachel's best friend who stayed by her side after a breakup.
To begin, the actress and singer were joined by another friend, who took a series of carefree selfies as they lounged in a spacious bedroom.
At one point, Chinouriri showed a photo of a boy she liked and was talking to. However, the clip then cut to a later date in the future and shows the same man apologizing to her front door with cake on his face.

As she began singing the lyrics, “But it's like a joy to hear your voice again,” Pugh stepped forward and shook his head to dissuade the songwriter from returning to him.
But then Chinouriri opened the door, dressed in a white fluffy strapless top and sparkly hair clips.
The Little Women star stood nearby in the background to support her pal as she rejected her ex-boyfriend as she didn't want to give him another chance.
In the next scene, Rachel was seen struggling with the breakup while trying to move on, singing lyrics like, “Without you on my mind, you can do whatever you want/Like oh no, it's me.” no matter what you do. “Go with your life…”
While she was in her bathroom, she secretly started calling her ex, but Florence quickly rushed in and took the phone away from her.
The couple then shared a funny moment as they both fought over the phone, and at one point the actress was seen hugging Rachel and giving her a friendly kiss on the cheek as she tried to get over the breakup.

The video ended with the singer-songwriter back at the party while surrounded by other partygoers dancing to the song.
“Just promise me you’ll take it easy/I hope you never need me,” she sang as the song came to a close.
Rachel revealed on her main Instagram page on Thursday that the music video was officially released and also tagged Florence.
“The music video for “Never Need Me” is out now! I put all my heart and soul into this song and am handing it to you on a plate. “Eat up xxx,” she excitedly wrote in the caption.
