NASHVILLE – The Titans have completed their seventh interview as part of the head coaching process.
Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik conducted a virtual interview with the team on Thursday evening.
Slowik was instrumental in the development of NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year front-runner quarterback CJ Stroud in his first season with the Texans.
Slowik previously worked with the San Francisco 49ers for six seasons and served as the 49ers' passing game coordinator in 2022. Previously, Slowik worked as a passing game specialist (2021) and before that as an offensive assistant (2019-2020) and defensive quality control coach (2017-2018).
Slowik was also a defensive assistant with the Washington Commanders from 2011 to 2013 after beginning his NFL career as a video assistant in 2010.
Previously, the Titans interviewed Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce and Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, as well as Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and offensive coordinator the Panthers, Thomas Brown, for the position.
In-person interviews cannot be conducted until January 22nd, but Zoom interviews are possible before then.
