Inspired by a work colleague in her twenties, the author found that cooking with the air fryer was “a lot of fun”.
She states that the recipes in her book enable a “healthy lifestyle”.
Among the foods that Diaz recommends in the air fryer, to the great surprise of cultural journalist Isabelle Perron, we find, among other things, fruits.
“Bananas, apples, peaches… They grill peaches. If you hold the grill so it's grilling a little, add some maple syrup and oil,” she says, adding that peaches can be placed around a basil burrata.
“You grill your apples, your pears, you square them, you flip them. You can put them in your salad.”
