Michelle Trachtenberg has spent the past week on Instagram shutting down “haters” who have expressed concerns about her health and appearance.
The 38-year-old former child star, who has 1.1 million Instagram/Twitter followers, wrote last Friday: “Fun fact.” That's my face. No malnutrition, no problems. Why did you [to] to hate? Get a calendar.'
Apparently it all started last Wednesday when Michelle shared a snap of herself getting her hair done at Tracey Cunningham's Mèche salon in Beverly Hills.
Instagram user @cathy_critz asked: “Michelle [you] look sick. [Are you] OK?'
Trachtenberg replied: “@cathy_critz explain to me how sick I look.” Did you lose a calendar and not realize I'm not 14? I'm 38. How sad that you left such a comment.'

The next day, the Daytime Emmy Award nominee posted another selfie showing off her freshly dyed pink locks with the defiant caption: “I've received several comments about my appearance lately.” I still have me never undergone plastic surgery. I am happy and healthy. Check yourself as a hater.'
Michelle uploaded two more selfies she took on Wednesday, and fans once again made it clear that they're not worried about plastic surgery or malnutrition, but rather her “thinning hair and yellow eyes.”
“Nobody talks about plastic surgery. “You're talking about your liver failing,” wrote Instagram user @efm850916.
Instagram user @heather_mcgillick agreed: “I really don't think anyone has suggested that you've had plastic surgery. “We're worried about you in general. Your eyes are yellow, your hair is yellow [thinning] The main thing is that you look sick.'
“People just worry about your eyes turning yellow and all your hair falling out,” wrote Instagram user @go.lden7541.
“I think they’re worried about your health.”
Instagram user @samj_82_ added: “Anyone with yellow eyes is not doing well and needs to see a doctor.”
Trachtenberg is best known for her role as Buffy's (Sarah Michelle Gellar) younger sister Dawn Summers aka “The Key” in 66 episodes of the 2000-2003 UPN teen supernatural drama “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
