Jay Du Temple plans to make a Terry Fox of himself by running and cycling across Canada as part of his Canadian tour for the show ENDwhich will begin in May.

Between each of his appointments, the comedian plans to run around fifty kilometers and cycle around 200 kilometers. His starting point would be the Douglas Institute in Montreal – for which he would like to collect donations during his trip – and he would first make his way to the Îles-de-la-Ville with several stops. Madeleine. From there he would take a flight to Vancouver and quietly return to Montreal on July 18 for the opening of the Just for Laughs festival.

“It’s the most self-project in the world. “What I love in life is performing and playing sports, and it's a mix of both,” he said in a new episode of his podcast, in which Jay Du Temple explains his idea in more detail.

In this forty-minute episode, the host reveals that while training for an Ironman, he was inspired by the story of two American runners and an Australian runner who ran through their respective countries.

Residence at Place des Arts

The comedian will be a guest at the Place des Arts as part of the Just for Laughs festival, where he will perform in every room of the establishment, both in the Salle Wilfrid-Laurier and in the Salle Claude-Léveillée, where he will complete his tour.

In parallel with his Canadian tour, Jay Du Temple wants to revive his podcast, which he paused almost two years ago to devote himself to writing his show Fin.
