A 39yearold woman died after suffering a massive heart attack while speaking at the memorial service of her fatherinlaw who had cancer. The sudden death of Sarah Healey occurred last November, but was brought to light last Monday 22nd after she received tributes from the community at her home in the United Kingdom.
Sarah was a nurse, married and mother of three, living in the Surrey region of England. Her parents revealed more details to The Leader newspaper about the tragedy, which occurred during Sarah's fatherinlaw's memorial service.
“Sarah was one of the people who came to the podium to speak. She suddenly fell to the ground during the speech. Apparently she had a cardiac arrhythmia or cardiac arrest. She had no history of heart problems and we are devastated by her death,” said mother Gladys Healey.
“It was a terrible blow to our family. It was also a terrible blow for her husband, who had just lost his father,” lamented the nurse’s mother.
Sarah specialized in the treatment of cancer and worked in a hospital in Wrexham, Wales, where she was responsible for the referral of patients during a state of emergency. The woman also owned a beauty clinic with a “significant” clientele, the mother said.
“Losing my big sister is the worst thing I have ever experienced. Life will never be the same,” said Sarah’s sister Trisha Healey.
