Danielle Fonseca Machado, known as Dani Li, died this Wednesday (24) at the age of 35 in the city of Curitiba (PR). Dani has been singing since she was five years old and became known after releasing her hit “Eu sou da Amazônia”, a hit from the north of the country, in the Brega style.
The death was confirmed by Marcelo Mira, the singer's husband. The artist died as a result of cosmetic surgery. The artist's companion, who sang cheesy songs, said that she had been in the hospital for six days in Curitiba, Paraná, the city where she underwent the procedure.
Recently, the artist released a music video on YouTube, “Tu e eu”. Friends, fans and politicians paid tribute to the artist on social media.
“My condolences, may Dani Li forever shine in the memory and hearts of all of us,” said Senator Davi Alcolumbre, who defended Danielle’s condition. “I can't believe Dani Li is dead, a person full of joy and health 😢,” one fan added.
According to the newspaper Diário da Amapá, Dani's uncle Leno informed that the singer would be buried and buried in Macapá, where she built her musical career.
