Tori Spelling has revealed that Luke Perry secretly dated Madonna in the 1990s.
The actress revealed the secrets of her Beverly Hills co-star's affair with the pop star on her 90210MG podcast.
“I’ll never forget when [Luke] took me to his dressing room and he told me,” she told her co-host and former colleague Jennie Garth. “I felt so confident. Oh my God, he’s telling me about Madonna.”
She revealed that Luke Perry invited her to listen to an answering machine from Madonna. “I thought, 'You're the coolest person in the world.' “Partly because you’re Luke Perry and partly because Madonna wants you,” she recalls.
The actor and the Material Girl first met in 1992 at an American Foundation for AIDS Research event at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. When Luke Perry presented Madonna with an award, she “kissed on stage.”
Tori Spelling hasn't said how long Luke Perry dated the Vogue singer, but he married Rachel Sharp in 1993.
Luke Perry died in 2019 at the age of 52 from complications of a stroke.
