New pictures of murderous yoga instructor Kaitlin Armstrong show her recovering in Costa Rica after undergoing gruesome plastic surgery in a failed attempt to evade authorities.
Armstrong, 36, fled Austin, Texas, shortly after he shot aspiring cycling star Moriah Wilson out of jealousy over her relationship with her live-in boyfriend. She was sentenced to 90 years in prison for the brutal murder last year.
In newly available selfies taken from the killer's phone, Armstrong can be seen with a bloody bandage on his nose, appearing to show off the results of the surgery to the camera from various angles.
One image shows a close-up of what looks like the stitches from an eyebrow lift. Another shows a selfie of the killer before the operations, in scrubs.
Meanwhile, a creepy Instagram story screenshot shows Armstrong pointing a gun. The post includes the words: “Gun safety with @kaitlinarmstrong #bangbang”

Armstrong looked completely different when she was arrested, thanks to her reshaped nose and the brow lift, in which a patient's forehead is incised and raised to create a more youthful appearance.
The yoga teacher managed to stay on the run for 43 days after dying her hair brown and undergoing a nose job and an eyebrow lift in Costa Rica under the name Allison Paige.
Last year, a jury was shown the images taken with her cell phone. Receipts totaling $6,350 for cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica by doctor Jorge Badilla were also presented to the court.
Armstrong also requested surgery under her eyes and on her lips, telling a surgeon that she had “aged significantly” in recent days.
Last month, exclusively reported on Armstrong's bombshell claim that she was pregnant at the time of her arrest.
The convicted murderer's current lawyer believes a jury might have given her a shorter prison sentence had they known about her delicate condition.

During her murder trial in November, testimony revealed that she had lab tests done before her cosmetic procedures.
Plastic surgeons routinely check a patient's general health and see if she is pregnant before a scheduled surgery, such as a rhinoplasty.
In fact, Armstrong's surgery was postponed for a day, a witness testified, because Armstrong failed to complete laboratory tests.
Her doctor's office told her they were necessary.
The next day she had the lab tests done and was able to go under the knife.

The 36-year-old killed Wilson out of jealousy after finding out the aspiring cycling star was dating her boyfriend Colin Strickland during their breakup
Last October, before she was sentenced, Armstrong faked an injury to go to a doctor's appointment days before her trial and tried in vain to escape police custody.
Armstrong killed Wilson in a jealous rage after he found out she was seeing boyfriend Colin Strickland, 35, during their breakup.
The night of Wilson's murder, the aspiring cyclist had gone to dinner and swimming with Strickland.
After Strickland dropped Wilson off at a friend's apartment and left, Armstrong entered the house and shot Wilson twice in the head, once in the heart and once in the hand – a wound that the coroner said meant Wilson likely raised her hands to attack trying to protect themselves from the shots.
Prosecutors had asked the jury to sentence Armstrong to at least 40 years in prison. She previously rejected a plea deal from Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza.
