She shared the news with a humorous Christmas card featuring her family posing in their pajamas with the caption, “So much for Silent Nights.”
She uploaded photos of the announcement to Instagram and wrote: “Surprise, surprise!”
The actress spoke about parenting in an interview with Today and encouraged aspiring mothers and fathers to embrace their flaws.
The How I Met Your Father actress explained, “I had to get really good at being disappointed in myself.”
She went on to say that prospective parents should not have too much confidence in their ability to care for their children.
