James Brolin, 83, is one of three actors who have joined the cast of the upcoming historical romance, a report from Variety confirmed this week.
So does Lizzy Greene, the 20-year-old actress who rose to fame on the hit ABC drama series “A Million Little Things.”
The likeable Irish actor Eoin Macken, best known in America for his role in the NBC series “La Brea”, was also cast in the series.
James Brolin is perhaps best known for his television roles, particularly as Dr. Marcus Welby in the 1960s and 1970s and as a hotel in the 1980s.
In addition to his career, he has also built an impressive Hollywood family – his son is Oscar-nominated hunk Josh Brolin and his wife is showbiz legend Barbra Streisand.
In 2021, he became the narrator of the Netflix fantasy series “Sweet Tooth” – and now he has added another job at the streamer to his filmography with Ransom Canyon.
Duhamel leads the cast of Ransom Canyon as family patriarch Sterling Kirkland, while Kelly plays Quinn, who previously moved to New York to become a concert pianist but now makes his home in Texas.

“Yellowstone” similarly followed the drama that unfolds on a ranch in Central America led by a patriarch played by bodyguard dreamboat Kevin Costner.
