Yoel is a meticulous Holocaust historian who is currently leading a significant debate against Holocaust deniers and the interests of the powerful in Austria. The man is in the middle of a legal battle over a case involving a brutal massacre of Jews that took place in the village of Lendsdorf near the end of World War II. It is precisely at this location that an influential industrial family is planning to build a real estate complex. Convinced that the purpose of this real estate project is actually to cover up the case forever, Yoel undertakes an in-depth search to find definitive evidence of the accident. Yoel is willing to risk everything to find out the truth. He investigates secret testimonies from Shoah survivors and is shocked and surprised to find a statement from his mother, whose existence he had no idea existed. In it, the woman confesses a fundamental secret from her past… A lonely man in search of the truth about a forgotten episode of the Shoah, fighting to ensure that the case is not covered up forever.
