Quebec filmmaker Denis Villeneuve will be joined by his colleague Christopher Nolan in promoting the sequel dune. One week before the cinema release, scheduled for January 1stum Exclusive images of the film will be presented before screenings in March principle in IMAX 70mm.
Christopher Nolan's Tenet hit theaters in the summer of 2020, the first year of the pandemic, and is actually being re-released in late February in some IMAX theaters in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The distributor Warner Bros has decided to take the opportunity to delight moviegoers by presenting exclusive images from the second part of Dune, undoubtedly the most anticipated film at the beginning of 2024.
In a press release issued earlier this week, Christopher Nolan, who just received 13 Oscar nominations for his film “Oppenheimer,” said he was pleased to offer the public the opportunity to view “Tenet” in IMAX format see (or re-watch). Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve have never hidden their mutual admiration. The two filmmakers share the same vision of a cinema that is both spectacular and innovative.
“As a viewer, I have always appreciated Chris's reflection [Nolan] when it comes to filming, especially in large format. As directors, we are completely on the same wavelength,” the Quebec filmmaker explained in the same press release.
Dune: Part II – which was shot entirely on IMAX film – will hit theaters in Quebec on March 1.
