The NHL released a video on Friday introducing the four new jerseys against the backdrop of the New York subway. Each team kept their usual colors. The favorite on social media seems to be the Blueshirt model, which has the letters “NYR” printed on the front.
However, the Isles jersey raised more than one eyebrow due to its similarity to the regular Edmonton Oilers jersey. It is very simple and, above all, decorated with the team's nickname and very large numbers on the sleeves.
For the Flyers, internet users agreed that the device looked very similar to the devices already used by the team. On the Devils side, the mix of black and red was well received.
