Beaudin was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks on October 26, 2022 in exchange for forward Cam Hillis and has never played a single game for the big club.
This season, the Châteauguay native played just 16 games for the Laval Rocket, collecting six assists. Last year he wore the Laval jersey 39 times, scoring two goals and 23 assists for 25 points.
Beaudin was a first-round pick (27th overall) of the Blackhawks in 2018. He played all 22 career games in the National Hockey League for Chicago.
