Moscow, January 30 (EFE). – Russian anti-aircraft forces shot down a Ukrainian drone today over the Tula region south of Moscow, authorities of this entity of the Russian Federation reported.
“According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage to infrastructure at the site of the crash of the fragments (of the drone),” the Tula regional security ministry said on its website.
The official statement did not specify where the remains of the unmanned device ended up.
The Tula region is located about 110 kilometers south of the Russian capital and just over 200 kilometers from the nearest point of the Ukrainian border.
For several weeks, the Ukrainian army has been carrying out daily attacks against the Russian rear, either with drones or with missiles, including ballistic missiles.
This Monday, a Ukrainian drone attacked an oil refinery 240 kilometers northeast of Moscow, causing no casualties or damage.
On the 21st, a Ukrainian drone caused a fire at the NOVATEK gas terminal in the Ust-Luga river port, next to the mouth of the Lugá River in the Gulf of Finland, about 850 kilometers north of Ukraine. EFE
