Greg Rutherford has revealed his son Rex was rushed to hospital after losing a “ton of blood” following an accident at home.
The 37-year-old Dancing On Ice star shared a snap of his son's head after it was cut open following an accident at home.
Greg, who has three children with his fiancée Susie Verill, shared a snap of Rex's head injury after taking him to the emergency room to have his head glued back together.
He captioned the post, “Young Rexy hit the door frame and lost…lots of blood and a few tears later we're in the ER hoping his new head mouth can be closed soon.” .”
Greg shared another snap of Rex's injuries and thanked the NHS for their care for his son.

He said: “One minute I'm worried about a silly ice dance, the next minute I'm cleaning up blood and taking young Rexy to the hospital.” Perspective is key. PS: He was SO brave.
“The wonderful staff and Milton Keynes Hospital held his head back and as we set off Rexy barely batted an eyelid. “I love the NHS.”
