Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is facing another scandal after her office allegedly spent a $488,000 gang prevention grant on expensive “loot.”

The prosecutor, already under fire for hiring her “lover” Nathan Wade to investigate Donald Trump, was slapped with a subpoena by House Republicans on Friday as controversy raged over her conduct.

In a letter obtained by on Friday, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan alleged that Willis' team planned to misuse the grant earmarked for the creation of a youth development and gang prevention center to sell new luxury goods such as MacBooks and pay for expensive trips.

According to a report by Free Beacon, Willis consultant Michael Cuffe was behind the alleged plan to misuse taxpayer funds.

Jordan writes that when a whistleblower — Amanda Timpson — told Willis about the alleged plot, she was immediately fired.

“He wanted to do things with grants that were impossible, and I kept telling him, 'We can't do that,'” Timpson Willis said during a meeting on November 19, 2021, according to a recording of the conversation obtained by the Free Beacon.

“He told everyone… 'We're going to get MacBooks, we're going to get loot, we're going to use them for travel.' I said, 'You can't do that, it's a very, very specific grant.' 'I respect your assessment “Willis replied. “And I’m not saying your assessment is wrong.”

But less than two months later, Timpson was banned from the office and escorted out of the office by seven armed investigators.

Jim Jordan requests all documents and communications that “pertain to or relate to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office’s receipt and use of federal funds” and “that relate to or relate to allegations of misuse of federal funds.”

Willis' office has rejected previous document requests from the committee, saying there is “no justification in the Constitution for Congress to interfere in a federal criminal matter.”

Willis has come under fire from Republicans after reports that she hired her lover Nathan Wade to lead the extortion case against former President Donald Trump.

Last month, the committee requested documents related to Willis' relationship with Wade and found that he was paid more than $650,000 – at an hourly rate of $250 – for work on the investigation and prosecution of Trump and other federal officials were paid, according to a new report in court documents.

The committee found that federal funds may have been used to pay Wade, giving them jurisdiction to investigate. It highlighted the “enormous legal fees” Wade charged the prosecution in a case on November 5, 2021, billing for 24 hours of legal work in one day and claiming to work on the prosecution all day and night to have worked.
