Daniels gained media attention after it was revealed in 2018 that Michael Cohen had allegedly paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump.
She later filed a lawsuit against Trump in March of that year, claiming the nondisclosure agreement she signed was invalid.
A tweet Trump wrote about her allegations prompted Daniels to file a defamation lawsuit just a month later.
