Tom Holland was “so behind” on his water bill because he thought water was free in the UK
The 27-year-old Hollywood actor admitted that he was “unaware” that he had to foot the bill for the water he used during his stay at his luxury property.
Appearing on a Jay Shetty podcast last year, Tom said he had now paid back the lump sum payment after months of believing water was free and a “luxury of life in England”.
Tom called for more life lessons to be taught in schools, saying: “I grew up on the streets so much I had to grow up at home a lot.”
“I pay my water bill, pay my council tax and sort my bins and all those things they don’t teach you about in school.”

“I pay my water bill, pay my council tax and sort my bins and all these things they don't teach you at school.” I didn't know you had to pay for your water. I just thought it was a luxury of life in England.
“Yes, the water comes from the sky and then from your faucet.” I was so behind on my water bill. I didn't know, I'm up to date now. Do not worry.'
It is estimated that Tom has a net worth of £19 million thanks to his Hollywood role as Spider-Man.
