They were the high-profile couple who split up just last month amid dark “cheating” rumors.
And now influencer Sam Guggenheimer has taken to TikTok to clarify that cheating played a role in her split from her AFL star ex-boyfriend Caleb Poulter.
An emotional Sam, 23, posted on her platform on Thursday to put an end to the trash talk.
“I need to make everything clear because I’m tired of being silent,” she began.
“Caleb and I had a very healthy and beautiful relationship. “I have nothing but love for Caleb and I hope he does well,” she added.
Influencer Sam Guggenheimer has taken to TikTok to set the record straight regarding cheating rumors with his ex-boyfriend, AFL star Caleb Poulter
“Caleb and I don't talk anymore, Caleb and I didn't cheat, you don't know when Caleb and I broke up and there was no cheating involved,” she continued.
Sam then addressed the accusation circulating online that she caused the breakup because she was trying to “control” Caleb.
“Caleb went out almost every other weekend when he wasn't playing football and I had no problem with that,” she wrote.
“I loved when he went out with his friends. I thought that was really important and I’m going to stand by it, and I’m pretty sure Caleb would support me.”
Elsewhere, Sam addressed rumors that she had hooked up with influencer Sopha Dopha's ex.
“I need to make everything clear because I’m tired of being silent,” she began. “Caleb and I had a very healthy and beautiful relationship. “I have nothing but love for Caleb and I hope he does well,” she added. Both pictured
“The second rumor is that I was seeing my boyfriend Jordan, and that's honestly ridiculous at this point,” she said.
“Jordan and I were friends before I was friends with Soph.” I have nothing but love and respect for Soph. I don't think she's a bad person.'
She also added that she is no longer friends with Dopha.
This comes after Sam and Caleb Poulter ended their relationship in January after two and a half years of dating.
Sam confirmed the heartbreaking news on an episode of her Just For Girls podcast, revealing that the relationship had “reached its end”.
“Caleb and I are no longer together.” “I had a wonderful relationship and I will cherish our relationship for the rest of my life, but things happen,” she began.
“Caleb and I don't talk anymore, Caleb and I didn't cheat, you don't know when Caleb and I broke up and there was no cheating involved,” she continued
The influencer was quick to dismiss rumors that anyone was wrong, explaining that they simply grew apart naturally.
“Nothing bad ever happened in our relationship. Nobody cheated. To be clear: no one did anything wrong. It just ran its course.'
Sam and the Western Bulldogs star began dating in May 2021 while he was playing for Collingwood.
