The number one question I get asked the day after the Super Bowl is: How did your bets on the game go? I'll answer this question later, but for now I can tell you that I ended up sharing 35 betting tips for the big game!
I'm starting my Monday post by reviewing our picks from last Friday. The Minnesota Wild got the job done against the Pittsburgh Penguins with a 3-2 win. Good job from Minnesota on the Marc-André Fleury tribute evening!
Today I also have an underdog bet for you, powered by two of my NHL betting systems, one of which is called “Cold Team vs. Hot Team Matchup.” “Whoever does well against the team on fire”).
Let's review the rules of this very profitable betting strategy. If the away team has lost two or more games in a row and the home team has won two or more games in a row, then bet on the away team, but only if their odds of winning are greater than 2.25.
The Coyotes and their bad side
There is a team that will qualify under this system on Monday. The Arizona Coyotes are on a five-game losing streak, while the Philadelphia Flyers have won each of their last three games.
Therefore, my pick for Monday, February 12th is the Coyotes at odds of 2.35. This is currently the best odds available, but depending on your odds provider you may have to settle for odds as low as 2.25.

So far this season I have made 40 bets using this strategy and collected 21 wins. It may not look spectacular at first glance, but the average odds of each bet are 2.80. This means we defeated several major underdogs and still achieved a win rate of over 50%!
Furthermore, this betting angle generated an incredible profit of +16.34 while only risking one unit per bet and an ROI of 40.9%. In other words, if you had bet $10 on each selection in this system, you would have made a profit of $163.4. This is what crushes book lovers!
Why do I believe in this?
The Coyotes have lost five straight games, but all of them came against quality opponents. These clubs have a win-loss record of over 50% and will most likely play in the playoffs.
The Flyers are better than the Coyotes this season. Heading into Monday's game, they are 28-19-6, including 13-12-2 at home.

The Coyotes have had an up and down season and will have to overcome a poor road record to beat the Flyers at home, but I think they can get it done. They compiled a road record of 8-13-4. However, I believe they can win on Monday.
This is the second time these two teams have met this season. In their last game, the Flyers won 4 to 1. The Coyotes will look to avenge that loss during their trip to Philadelphia.
With their season seemingly falling apart, the Coyotes desperately need a win tonight. If they want to achieve the feat of reaching the playoffs, they have to turn things around with a win on Monday.
My Super Bowl
And as promised in the introduction, here is a summary of my Super Bowl bets. The 35 bets I recommended had an average odds of 1.93.

In other words: We didn't just prevail against the big favorites. Far from it.
In total we collected 20 wins, 14 defeats and one draw. If you had risked one unit per game, you would have had a net profit of 3.33 units.
I hope you had a chance to watch the game with family and friends!
