Molly Ringwald turned heads as a runway model at the Batsheva New York Fashion Week show on Tuesday.
The 55-year-old Sixteen Candles star – who was recently compared to Lily Allen – embodied the '80s by wearing a purple dress inspired by the decade.
The Golden Globe nominee was one of many models over 40 cast in the presentation.
Ringwald's bright plum look featured voluminous shoulder pads and a belt that accentuated her slim waist.
She also modeled a second look, a more modern black dress with a lace hand warmer and a veil.

Molly's purple outfit was finished with an embossed floral pattern and silver studded accents.
The look was completed with a pair of white pointed toe heels.
Her signature red-toned locks were cut straight and arranged with face-framing bangs.
Each of the figure-hugging dresses the longtime actress wore fell below the knee.
The Breakfast Club star paired the short-sleeved black ensemble with black heels with lace details.
Ringwald looked beautiful, her face made up with lots of black mascara and matte pink lipstick.
Her long, almond-shaped nails were coated in glossy red polish as she confidently strolled down the runway.
They were accompanied on the catwalk by journalist Amy Fine Collins and actress Ione Skye.

Drawing inspiration from the divine feminine, the new Batsheva collection drew on historical references while incorporating modern fabrics and colors.
Earlier in the day, Ringwald attended the Helmut Lang show, which took place in Brooklyn.
She wore a black suit with a mustard yellow button-up shirt underneath and fingerless black leather gloves.
Ringwald currently stars in the FX series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
