“There are many actors in this family, but tonight there was only one star,” Kate Hudson wrote on Instagram about her dog Roy, who appeared in a Budweiser commercial that aired during the Super Bowl.

The video clip released by actress and singer Kate Hudson is sure to melt hearts. First we hear the actress celebrating the appearance of her golden Labrador on screen, then all the family and friends (who gathered to watch the sporting event) warmly congratulate the 4-year-old puppy.
The ad begins with a massive snowstorm delaying the delivery of Budwiser to a remote pub. Old-fashioned methods must be used to transport the precious cargo by horse-drawn carriage.
It's the loyal bar dog Roy who leads them through the snow to the bar. So he becomes the hero who ensures that the drink arrives safely.

“Good boy, Roy! “You just stood in front of more people at once than any of the comedians in this family have ever managed to do in a commercial,” Kate Hudson's stepfather, actor Kurt Russell, says with a laugh.
It was Kate Hudson's famous mother Goldie Hawn who gave Roy to her daughter in 2020 when he was still a puppy.
