In an interview with TMZ, he hinted that something incredible was on the horizon. While he didn't comment on what fans could expect from the rest of Beyoncé's new album, he didn't deny it when asked if the Crazy in Love singer and Taylor Swift – who are good friends – could collaborate.
“You’ll have to wait and see,” he said when asked if two of the most famous women in the industry would end up in the studio together.
When asked about the presence of potential guests on the album, he remained cryptic: “Let's just say she's going to surprise the world,” he simply replied.
Taylor Swift's roots are in country music and Beyoncé's new album has been described as “country,” so the collaboration would make sense musically. Beyoncé released two new singles, Texas Hold Em and 16 Carriages, during the Super Bowl, before announcing that the second album in her Renaissance trilogy, Act II, would be released on March 29.
