Reporter Apologizes to Paolla Oliveira After Interview Goes Viral: 'She's Not Obese' on Instagram
Pahby took to social media to clarify the controversial interview he conducted with Paolla Oliveira last Sunday during the Grande Rio parade in Sapucaí. The reporter, who covered the carnival for a special channel on YouTube and Instagram, was accused of calling the actress obese and apologized.
In the interview that gave us something to talk about, he talks to Paolla about a free body, acceptance and representation, says that he was an “obese man” and that he knows how “important it is to love and accept yourself “. The actress then replies: “I don't hear much with that fantasy… (see below)”.
The video had a negative impact and led to several criticisms of the reporter. Pahby decided to make a video apologizing to the public and Paola.
“How crazy is it that I called Paolla Oliveira obese? She is not obese. She is a normal woman, thin, slim. I would like to apologize if anyone understood that. I would like to apologize to Paolla Oliveira. She wasn't listening at the time.” “But then she saw the video and thought this,” he began.
