Jennifer Garner may be joining Ben Affleck in his latest film appearance.
The actress, who was married to the Oscar-winning filmmaker for 13 years, is currently negotiating to star opposite Matt Damon in Animals, a Netflix crime thriller.
Affleck is directing the feature and producing alongside Dani Bernfeld alongside Damon through their Artists Equity banner. Brad Weston and Collin Creighton also produce through their MakeReady initiative.
The pieces are still being hammered out, including Garner's deal, but if everything falls into place, the thriller could be in front of cameras in Los Angeles starting in March.
Written by Connor McIntyre and adapted by Billy Ray, the crime thriller is about a mayoral candidate and his wife, whose son is kidnapped. Surrounded by numerous political and other enemies, the man and woman have no choice but to get their hands dirty to save their son.
As a contestant, Garner would play the wife opposite Damon.

Affleck and Garner divorced in 2018.
