Former Montreal Canadiens Anthony Richard stood out in the Boston Bruins' 5-4 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings at TD Garden on Saturday.
In fact, the Quebecer scored his first goal of the season while alone in front of the Kings' net at the end of the second period. This success gave his team a 3-1 lead.

However, things got really complicated for the local heroes after that. The Kings equalized by scoring two unanswered goals thanks to Vladislav Gavrikov and Alex Laferriere.
Jim Montgomery's men thought they had taken a good chance to win when they regained the lead through a goal from Trent Frederic, but Anze Kopitar sent the two teams into extra time at the very end of the game.
Ultimately it was young Brandt Clarke who came out of the penalty area and gave the visitors victory. Furthermore, this goal was his first in the National Hockey League.
James Van Riemsdyk was the Bruins' other scorer twice. Matt Roy also got the red light for the Californian team.
This loss is the fourth in a row for the Bruins. The Massachusetts team will look to return to victory on Monday against the Dallas Stars. The Kings, meanwhile, will be back in action on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
