Former President Donald Trump has called a group of truckers planning a boycott of New York after a $355 million fraud verdict against him “great patriots.”
On Friday, a trucker claimed there was a growing nationwide movement of riders planning to refuse delivery to New York City starting Monday in support of Trump.
After sharing the article about the planned boycott, Trump posted on Truth Social: “What an honor to have so many great patriots on the side of freedom!”
He added: “Joe Biden's unfair and dangerous arming of law enforcement is a serious threat to democracy. 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!'
The truckers claim they are taking action after a New York court fined the former president $355 million in a civil fraud ruling.

In Friday's ruling, Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump and his company to pay $355 million in penalties. He discovered that he had lied about his assets for years to deceive banks, insurance companies and others by inflating his assets in financial reports.
