An irate McDonald's customer in Boston became so upset when a fast-food restaurant employee touched the top of his drink that he punched the unfortunate worker in the face, police said Sunday.
The fast-food scuffle occurred around 7 p.m. Saturday at the South Station transportation depot, where the unnamed 34-year-old patron punched the worker “multiple times” for apparent indiscretion, according to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority traffic police said on Sunday on X.
The suspect was cuffed and taken to MBTA police headquarters while the employee was treated for his injuries at the scene, the department said.

Police did not initially release any further details of the incident.
According to McDonald's rules for employees, employees must wear gloves and wash their hands regularly at least hourly when working in the food preparation area of the restaurant chain's branches.

Earlier this month, another McDonald's customer in New York's Rockland County sued the fast food giant after claiming a slice of cheese on a burger nearly killed him.
Charles Olsen, who has a severe dairy allergy, said he asked for a plain patty but ended up with the wrong slice of cheese on his meal, which completely threw him off.
