Lorena Zanelli takes over as Head of International Relations at IÉSEG

As part of its strategic plan “Inspire Connect Transform” 2022-2027, IÉSEG emphasizes its international dimension. Lorena Zanelli was named the school's director of international relations. The goal? Ensure the school's international influence, the recruitment of foreign students and the development of programs in collaboration with internationally renowned institutions.

From March 1, 2024, Lorena Zanelli will be entrusted with the responsibility of Director of International Relations at IÉSEG, joining the school's Management Committee. She succeeds Antonio Giangreco, who, in addition to his duties as Director of International Programs, assumes responsibility for accreditation and continues to sit on the Management Committee.

Lorena Zanelli's Missions

Lorena Zanelli's main task will be to strengthen the international attractiveness of the IÉSEG network of partner universities as well as its international joint programs, in particular double and triple degrees. She will also work to expand the school’s “Internationalization @Home” strategy, recognized as a benchmark of excellence through international accreditations and rankings.

Lorena Zanelli's journey

With more than 20 years of experience in international university relations both in France and abroad, Lorena Zanelli brings solid knowledge to her new role. In particular, she founded the Campus France office in Lima and held responsible positions at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and the INSEEC School of Business & Economics. She has diverse and in-depth specialist knowledge in this field.

Lorena Zanelli shares her excitement about her new role by stating: “I am very pleased to take over the leadership of International Relations at IÉSEG, because the school has deeply embedded this international dimension at all levels: in its teaching, which is fully based English is offered.” at the locations where more than 2,500 international students with more than 100 nationalities are welcome, but also within the teams where more than 55 different nationalities come together. Everyone at IÉSEG shares this intercultural and international attitude. Above all, I want to strengthen our European and international influence in line with our CSR strategy and strengthen our internationalization and innovation strategy by relying on strategic alliances for the benefit of our students, our professors and our administrative teams.
