A total of 10 people will portray the members of the legendary family group The Jackson 5 at different points in their journey in the feature film MichaelPublication is scheduled for April 2025.
While Jaafar Jackson, Michael's nephew, will play the latter as an adult, young Juliano Krue Valdi, 9 years old, will play a young pop king in his first major role on the big screen.
Jayden Harville, 15, and Jamal R. Henderson will share the script from Jermaine, Michael's older brother, now 69. Harville will be making his first film appearance and is currently starring in an improv comedy on the Nickelodeon channel.

The role of Marlon Jackson is shared between 13-year-old Jaylen Lyndon Hunter and Tre Horton. Both actors are used to playing roles that combine acting, singing and dancing. Hunter previously played the young Marlon Jackson in the play “MJ: The Musical”.
Young Tito Jackson will be played by Judah Edwards, while Rhyan Hill will take care of his adult version. The latter has built up a good reputation as a dancer over the years and is notably on stage alongside MC Hammer and Bebe Rexha.

Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Joseph David-Jones will complete the legendary quintet and take on the role of Jackie Jackson. McIntyre, who will play young Jackie, has already flirted with the world of biographical films, landing a supporting role in 2016's “Barry,” inspired by the life of Barack Obama.
The Jackson family's parents, Joe and Katherine, are played by Colman Domingo and Nia Long.
Actor Miles Teller, who gained popularity in recent years for his role in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), took on the role of John Branca, lawyer and co-manager of Michael Jackson's empire.
With 16 studio albums, The Jackson 5, also called The Jacksons, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and three of its songs were immortalized in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Grammy, from 1999 to 2017.
Michael, the biographical film about the life of the legendary Michael Jackson, who died in 2009, is produced by Graham King and is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 18, 2025.
