Montreal Canadiens 2013 first-round pick Michael McCarron appears to have found his niche with the Nashville Predators.
The 1.95 meter tall forward is currently enjoying the best moments of his career in the National Hockey League. In the Predators' 4-1 win over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, McCarron scored a point in his third straight game, raising his point total to five in his last seven games.

The 28-year-old pivot has scored nine goals and eight assists for 17 points in 48 games this season. For comparison: Habs striker Josh Anderson has scored one point less than McCarron since the start of the season, despite playing seven games more than the latter.
After his team's success against the Senators, Tennessee head coach Andrew Brunette said he was very pleased with the equipment provided by McCarron and his linemates Cole Smith and Kiefer Sherwood.
“They’re tenacious and relentless against the puck,” Brunette said of the Predators’ fourth line in an interview with Bally Sports on Tuesday. […] At the beginning of the game they left no space, their bats were excellent, they interrupted the plays. They were excellent.”
McCarron was also rewarded for his good work by the Predators, who signed a two-year contract extension with the team on February 16th.
