NATO countries that decide to send troops to Ukraine will face “tragic” consequences, the Russian president said. “They began,” Putin said, “to talk about the possibility of sending NATO military contingents to Ukraine. Let us remember the fate of those who sent their contingents to the territory of our country in the past. Now the consequences for all interventionists will be more serious and tragic.”
In the conflict in Ukraine, Russian forces used two types of hypersonic missiles: the Kinzhal, launched from aircraft, and the Zirkon, launched from ships. Vladimir Putin said this in his speech to the assembled parliament, adding that “the whole country” supports the Russian soldiers involved in the military operation in Ukraine and that together “we can overcome everything.”
