A 34-year-old man was arrested around 5 p.m. for “violence between criminal groups.” This is the sixth suspect arrested by Quebec police in this case.

The suspect is scheduled to appear at the Quebec courthouse on Thursday and is expected to face charges of attempted murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement. Until then he will remain in custody.
