Earlier this week, the singer, who also hosts Big Brother Celebrities, posted an excerpt of the song on Instagram and explained the song's roots.

A few days earlier, Marie-Mai also shared a black and white photo of a foot wearing high heels on Instagram.
An expected new album
A month ago, Marie-Mai announced the upcoming release of her new single via a fleeting post on Instagram.
Planet Studios, where the new music was recorded, also posted good news on Instagram
“We are proud to announce that Marie-Mai, together with her team at Spectra Musique and her director lucatheproducer, presented excerpts from her next album to various Quebec music managers at Studio 2. The entire album was created and recorded at Planet.”
At the moment we know very little about Marie-Mai's new album. The release date has not been announced.
Her latest album, Elle et moi, was released in 2018.
The song Noir sur noir will be available on all platforms on Friday.
