When Ratinho heard a transphobic joke when he presented it as one of the attractions of his program, the city councilor of São Paulo, Thammy Miranda (PLSP), left the sets of the studio this Monday (26) from where he launched the attraction pursued.
“I don’t know if it’s him or her. It's him, isn't it? It's him! It's Thammy! “She has a beard now, doesn’t she?” said Ratinho when announcing the interview. Thammy Miranda is a trans man and began gender transition in 2014.
He was supposed to be interviewed for the SBT attraction, but left the show shortly before it aired and the interview did not take place.
Thammy's absence, after his presence was announced amid the banter, was ignored by Ratinho. He did not explain to viewers why the city council did not show up. The case caused unrest at SBT.
When contacted, Thammy confirmed that he had decided to leave and not give the interview to Ratinho. SBT did not respond Q5 until the last update of this report.
This isn't the first time Mouse and Thammy have had problems. In 2018, the communicator said he was “straightforward” when explaining his refusal to recognize Gretchen's son as a man.
