After an emergency call from the pilot, Karol G.'s private jet lands in Van Nuys

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — International superstar Karol G's private jet made an emergency landing in Van Nuys Thursday evening after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.

AIR7 HD was in the sky as the Grammy-winning Colombian reggaeton artist exited the plane and hugged friends and colleagues on the tarmac.

The plane took off from Burbank Airport on Thursday evening with 16 people on board and headed east. However, as the plane reached Cajon Pass, it turned around when the pilot reported the problem in the air.
