The Mystery Box Challenge offers chefs a wonderful moment of nostalgia as they discover not food to cook with, but a photo from their childhood. Her first dish must therefore be inspired by her family's culinary heritage.
“I open the mystery box and find a photo I love of me and my mother. “My heart is divided between Morocco and Canada, that’s for sure,” emphasized Fadwa with tears in his eyes.
“I know what I’m going to cook. It comes to mind because it's my mother's recipe. She died in 2019 and I want to honor her,” Alexandre replied, equally emotional.
At the end of the week, the lobster elimination challenge will see one contestant defeat, who in turn must put on their apron and leave the MasterChef kitchen.
