The Latin American and Caribbean Integration Bloc recalled in a statement that the previous day more than a hundred innocent people were murdered and at least 760 were injured while waiting in the Nabulsi roundabout for the distribution of food from truck convoys carrying humanitarian aid.
The Alliance deeply regretted this new attack, which “constitutes an unprecedented massacre” and worsens the endless suffering to which the Palestinian civilian population is systematically subjected.
In the text, the ALBA-TCP expressed its solidarity with the Palestinian people and called for compliance with the resolutions of the United Nations Organization establishing the two states on the pre-1967 borders.
The Integration Mechanism reiterated the call for the international community to enforce “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza” and to stop the genocide against the civilian population, which violates the principles and objectives of the UN Charter, international law and international humanitarian law.
ALBA-TCP member states urged to determine “responsibilities” in the face of such painful crimes against humanity.
