He is the international superstar who is never afraid to express his love for Australia.
And now it seems music legend Sir Elton John could be heading Down Under for an extended stay.
The 76-year-old has reportedly launched his representatives into an investigation into buying up ultra-exclusive Sydney properties worth a staggering $50 million.
Sir Elton's manager was spotted eyeing a stunning penthouse at the prestigious Kurraba Residences, the North Shore Times reported on Friday.
Famous for its stunning views of Sydney Harbour, the block on the northern foreshore of Kurraba Point opened last December.

Sir Elton's manager was spotted eyeing a stunning penthouse at the prestigious Kurraba Residences, the North Shore Times reported on Friday (pictured).
According to the report, most of the stylish block's 24 apartments have already been sold.
However, two of the penthouses – both worth an estimated $50 million – have yet to be auctioned.
One of them appears to be designed as a “Superstar” pad. Known as “The Kurraba,” it is 600 square feet and has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Highlights include a gym, a rooftop garden and a private pool.
There is also a steam room, a wine cellar and a private elevator for discreet access to the street.
The views are spectacular as the block sits opposite Potts Point and the Royal Botanic Gardens on the harbor.
It is known that Sir Elton, who has been traveling to Australia since 1971, spends long periods of time traveling Down Under with his band.
In 2017, the Tiny Dancer hitmaker said ahead of his umpteenth tour here: “I always love coming back to Australia.”
Concert promoter Michael Chugg said at the time: “Elton loves Australia and Australians, this is an ongoing matter.”
The apartments offer chic design features
In 1984, Sir Elton married German-born sound engineer Renate Blauel in a traditional ceremony at St Mark's Church in Sydney.
It wasn't until 1988 that the flamboyant artist announced that he was openly gay – around the same time the couple divorced.
