Thousands of Venezuelans marched this Saturday in Caracas, the capital of this country, to vehemently demand an end to the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have left more than 30,000 people dead, including many women and children.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the government of the State of Israel through the social network. Enough of the carnage!”

For his part, the Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of the Americas – Peoples' Free Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, was present at the event and gave a speech to the demonstrators who put up placards calling for an end to the attacks.

“The Bolivarian Chavista people, the revolutionary people, must stand at the forefront of the peoples of the world in defense of the Palestinian cause,” said the ALBA-TCP leader.

He reported that a meeting of social movements from around the world will be held next month in Venezuela to determine a global strategy to defend the Palestinian people.

“We will continue to take to the streets with the people and defend Palestine,” said Jorge Arreaza.
