The Princess of Wales was seen on Monday for the first time since she began recovering at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor last January after undergoing delicate abdominal surgery. In photos obtained by the New York Post, Kate is seen in the passenger seat of an Audi driven by her mother Carole near Windsor Castle. The princess wore sunglasses and smiled. In recent days, the royal family has had to deny rumors about her health as Kate has not been seen in public since Christmas.
The return to official duties after Easter
Kensington Palace has made it clear that the Princess of Wales is expected to return to her official duties after Easter. Kate spent thirteen days at the London Clinic in January.
