At the start of her eighth month of pregnancy, Lucy posted a recent picture of her bump in a full-length mirror.

She compared this to a picture from three months earlier and was “blown away” by the progress and how much a woman's body changes during pregnancy.

A few months earlier, in October, Lucy and James shared snaps from their gender reveal party, which took place in September, where they revealed they were having a baby boy.

Sharing pictures of her joyful gender reveal as she gathered her closest friends and family, the influencer took to Instagram to gush about the fact that she will be having a son who is “close in age” to her nephew, her sister Tiffany's son Watson, Jew.

In a sweet snap during the gender bash, the mom-to-be posed for a sweet photo with Tiffany and Jude, who she shares with husband Cameron McGeehan.

Tiffany's little boy looked adorable in the little t-shirt that read, “I may be little, but I'm going to be a big cousin.”

In awe of the gender reveal, Lucy thanked her fans for their kind messages the next day after sharing the happy news on Instagram.

She wrote: “Thank you so much for all the lovely messages.” We are very happy that our little boy… the new mom is coming into the world hot!

“Here are a few more pictures from the (very small) gender reveal we did last month…”

When Lucy showed off her baby bump in an Instagram Q&A at the end of November, she revealed that she and James had chosen an “unusual but traditional name.”

Lucy said they were “90 per cent sure” about the name, which was “very unusual but traditional at the same time”.

She added: “I'm sure but James isn't 100 per cent but I'm the one making the decision and he hates making decisions.”

In the post, Lucy also revealed that she was “scared” of giving birth and struggled with terrible morning sickness in the first trimester.

In early February, Lucy revealed she had “started packing her hospital bag” as she shared a picture of neatly folded baby clothes.

She also looked incredible as she showed off her baby bump in a white lingerie set while posing for an Instagram Story selfie.

The reality star's journey to pregnancy was emotional – as the couple struggled with fertility issues.

In a YouTube video discussing her fertility journey in November, Lucy talked about how hard it was to stay strong during her journey, describing that time of her life as a “never-ending pit of negativity.”

Revealing how she used meditation as a coping mechanism while trying to conceive, she said: “Another type of coping mechanism for trying to conceive is meditation.”

“I know it sounds ridiculous, but sometimes you feel so low, like you're in an endless pit of negativity, you just don't know how to be happy.”

“It's hard because James and I went through that.” “We had this time in our lives where we were going from one thing to another, not just fertility, and it could be difficult for us at times to be okay and feel happy.”

The former TOWIE star also openly admitted that she was aware that there were no guarantees when it came to pregnancy and that her journey could end at any time.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Lucy took a deep breath and continued, “I'm actually so grateful for where I am today.”

“I'm pregnant with my son.” Obviously I know this trip could end tomorrow or the next day as I don't know how long this will take or if we'll make it to the end or reach the point where we having a baby in your arms.

The reality star-turned author announced her engagement to her partner James in September 2020 after meeting on the E4 set of Made In Chelsea in 2015.

She left the show a year later.

Lucy and James tied the knot in a romantic Kefalonia ceremony in 2021, but the star admitted the name hasn't changed much for the couple.

“We have already lived together and have been together for seven years, so I don't strongly believe that life changes drastically after marriage. “It is what it is, we seem to be coping with it so far,” he explained.

But between weddings and honeymoons, the former Made In Chelsea star admitted he was in “no rush” to return to TV.

James ruled out a comeback to the E4 reality series, revealing: “I can safely say it's probably a no for a return to the show.”
