Threats against Brumotti, Striscia's correspondent in Bari
One of the people “caught” by Brumotti for not having a permit or a coupon that allowed actual parking in the disabled parking garage attacked the Striscia correspondent. At the urging of Brumotti, who pointed out his misconduct, he first gets out of the car and then threatens: “Do you know who I am?” Turn off the camera, I'll show you. I am a Diomede, if you don't know, I'll tell you again,” he says, repeating the surname that recalls one of the crime families from Bari. And when Brumotti asks what that means, he replies, “What does that mean?” It means I’ll shoot you in the head.
