The LeoDias column exclusively published this Monday (May 16) that Ximbinha, exhusband and expartner of Calypso de Joelma, tried to prevent the tour of singer Isso é Calypso because of the use of the band name, which ended after a controversial divorce process between the two. In an interview given to the owner of this column ahead of the debut of the new tour, Joelma commented on the case.
When asked about the matter, Joelma declined to go into legal details, but made it clear that Ximbinha won’t win anything behind her back: “You can’t kick a dead dog. I’m skipping that part, it’s over for me, it’s over. I forgave him, I took a load off my back and that’s it, and he does something he has no right to do, that’s it. He won’t deserve a drop of my sweat, one, never again.”
