Amber Heard blames Johnny Depp’s teacup Yorkie named Boo for feces found in couple’s bed

Amber Heard has blamed Johnny Depp’s teacup Yorkie named Boo for the infamous incident of leaving faeces in the couple’s bed.

During testimony in court in the couple’s multi-million dollar defamation trial on Monday, Ms Heard hit back at allegations that she called the incident a “prank gone wrong”.

Ms Heard told the court she would not find it funny and was “not in a pranking mood” at the time, having allegedly been “attacked” by Mr Depp the day before.

“Absolutely not,” she said of the suggestion that she staged the incident as a prank. “First of all, I don’t think it’s funny. I don’t know what a grown woman does.”

“I wasn’t in the mood for pranks either. My life fell apart… I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my abusive husband, who I was madly in love with,” she said.

Ms Heard told the court the dog ate Mr Depp’s marijuana as a puppy and has had bowel control problems ever since.

Boo often shared the couple’s bed with them, and they often left the dog in bed, as if if they put him on the floor he’d go straight to the bathroom, she said.

On that day, Ms. Heard said she and her friend were packing to go to the Coachella music festival to celebrate her 30th birthday.

She said they left Boo in bed while they got ready, suggesting the dog was to blame.

Mr Depp previously testified that human feces were left in the bed he shared with Ms Heard days after the couple fought back in 2016.

He claimed he wanted to visit her Los Angeles penthouse to pick up some belongings while she was away, but learned that “it wasn’t a good time to go there” after showing him a photo of “our bed and up.” my side of the bed was human feces.

Mr Depp’s security guard and chauffeur, Starling Jenkins, testified that Ms Heard told him the faeces was a “practical joke that went horribly wrong”.

He said he had a conversation with the actress where she allegedly made the shock admission while he was driving her to Coachella.

“We had a conversation about the surprise she left in the boss’s bed before leaving the apartment,” Mr Jenkins said.

Ms Heard told the court Monday that Mr Starling drove her and her friends back from Coachella, but she “didn’t have a conversation with him,” was never alone with him, and was in the back of the vehicle with a friend.

Ms Heard returned to the stand for a third day of testimony as the trial resumed on Monday after a week-long hiatus.

Mr Depp is suing his ex-wife for defamation over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in which she described herself as “a public figure who portrays domestic violence”.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor is described in the article, titled ‘I spoke out against sexual violence – and faced the wrath of our culture. That needs to change.”

However, Mr Depp claims that this falsely implies that he is a domestic abuser – something he strongly denies – and that it has made it difficult for him to land roles in Hollywood. He is suing for $50 million.

Ms Heard is filing a $100million counterclaim, accusing Mr Depp of organizing a “defamation campaign” against her and describing his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment”.

The trial began on April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia, with explosive testimony in the courtroom.
