The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards take place on Sunday, February 27 at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. California.
The event – which will appeal to the hosts Lady GagaLeonardo DiCaprioand Kate Winslet go on stage all night – it started with a red carpet strewn with stars, where many celebrities appeared in stunning dresses and extravagant looks.
However, some of Hollywood’s biggest names completely diverged from their looks – including Shari Belafonte, who failed miserably in a combination of a bright pink shirt and pants, metal sneakers and a long scarf over her shoulder. She also wore a large, silver, lion brooch in the center of the dress.
But the star of The Midnight Hour was by no means the only celebrity whose appearance failed at this year’s awards, as there were a number of fashion failures.
Melissa Tang from The Goodwin Games shook a lace dress with strange patterns, which was not successful in the style of clothes – especially because of the feathers that arranged the top and bottom.
Cynthia Erivo, on the other hand, wore a red leather dress – which she paired with a strange and strong leather coat.
Poppy Liu, a Sunnyside graduate, wore a black shaggy dress with white feathers sticking out everywhere and was not a fan favorite, while Sandra O’s dress was also unpopular.
As for Belinda Bromilou, her black and white dress had a huge orange bow in the center that was too big for the look.
Jackie Hoffman also made a dubious choice of style in a leopard print dress and an orange dress. She combined the outfit with a casual black purse and casual shoes that looked more appropriate for a trip to the beach.
