Cátia Fonseca “dropped in” at Band this Thursday (19) in Brasil Urgente to congratulate Datena on her 65th birthday. The host of Melhor da Tarde appeared on the police show, pushing a cart with a huge gift box and a table with chocolate cake and sweets. Speaking to his colleague, the journalist reported receiving a call from Luiz Bacci less than a week after the record rival was scolded.

Opening the box provided by Cátia Fonseca, Datena found another tribute: a very special cake with the presenter doll and a helicopter on top. Taking to social media, she wrote: “Birthday to my neighbor who I love so much and who is a true friend for life! Happy Birthday”.
Live Datena told her friend that she received an unexpected phone call. “Do you know who picked up the phone now? Bacci. He just called me, I thanked him for his congratulations and said he’s one of the new talents on TV who didn’t even realize what spot he got will for the talent he has.”

“He’s a very loving, loving boy and he sent me a hug. Bacci, kiss you, thanks for the message.”

Then Cátia recalled criticisms that Datena recently leveled at the competitor, but the journalist changed the conversation. “That’s a detail. You see how loving he is when he calls on my birthday, I thought it was so amazing. What I want to be clear about is that you don’t have to belong to anyone to compete on television, in anything in life you’re an enemy.”
“Bacci’s affection for me was so cool now. I like him a lot, I think he’s one of the great revelations of Brazilian television. I think he’ll continue to develop on other shows because he’s brilliant.”

Datena scolded Bacci live last week: ‘He was very wrong’
During last Friday’s show Brasil Urgente (13), José Luiz Datena detonated Luiz Bacci by quoting the presenter of Cidade Alerta, the main competing program at the time. The veteran presenter scolded the young professional for a remark the record staffer made about police chief Elisabete Sato during the Cidade Alerta.

Bacci criticized the officer’s appointment as director of the State Department of Homicide and Protection of the Person, São Paulo state’s civilian police force. Datena, who always defends the police, didn’t like the competitor’s comment at all and berated him, also citing the note made by the organizations representing the police to dismiss the Record journalist’s speech.
