Bucha, the NYT releases new evidence of the massacres: How the Russians executed Ukrainian prisoners video open open

The New York Times published new video evidence of the massacres in Bucha, Ukraine, where occupying Russian forces executed hundreds of civilians and volunteer fighters. In a video dated March 4, soldiers from Moscow can be seen marching a line of people in front of a gun through a street in a Kyiv suburb. These are 9 volunteer Ukrainian soldiers. Some of the prisoners have their hands over their heads, others hunchback, holding on to the belts of those in front. One of the soldiers is heard commanding, “Go right, bitch.”

In another unreleased video, the filmmaker’s voice can be heard counting 8 people lying on the ground. The images stop there, but 8 witnesses told the Times what happened next: Soldiers were said to be taking prisoners behind a nearby building that was being converted into a Russian military base, and gunfire was heard. The prisoners would never return. To confirm the stories, there is another video, this time from a drone, captured the next day (March 5): The bodies are lying on the ground next to the building and two Russian soldiers are standing guard next to the bodies. Among them is one of the prisoners shown in the first video. According to the New York Times, this is “the strongest evidence” that the prisoners were captured by Russian troops before they were executed.
